Camouflage and Courage started with a simple belief — that the woods have a way of healing what words cannot.
How it all began
Camouflage and Courage was founded by a couple of outdoor enthusiasts in North Carolina who witnessed firsthand the toll that service takes on the human spirit. They also saw something else — the way a quiet morning in the woods, a deer stepping into a clearing, a child's eyes going wide with wonder, could cut through years of pain and distance.
What started as a single hunt among friends grew into a mission. A mission to raise funds, build community, and give veterans and children the kind of experience that reminds them — and us — what life is really about.
We are wanting to bring together donors, sponsors, and volunteers to make it happen. Every year, we watch lives change in the quiet of the Northeast woods.

Father of two young children and loving wife of 22 years, Jeremy Co founded Camouflage and Courage after his own experience of healing through hunting. He leads the organization with the same quiet determination he brought to service.
Brad Duke
Founder & Executive Director
A family man led by faith, Brad was born and raised in the area with a passion for the outdoors. A devoted husband and father of two, he brings a deep love of the land and a heart for community to everything Camouflage and Courage does.
